PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a display member in which a barrier rib having a trifurcated form or an intersecting pattern is capable of being formed extremely accurately and at a high yield, and provide the display member as well as a display manufactured by its method. SOLUTION: This is the manufacturing method of the display member to form the barrier rib having an intersecting shape pattern or a trifurcated form pattern by applying a photosensitive paste to the substrate and exposing the applied coating film for a plurality of times. This is the method in which a process to form the barrier rib includes a process to form a coating film of the photosensitive paste and a process to expose the coating film corresponding to the trifurcated form part or the intersecting part of the barrier rib, and this is the display member as well as the display manufactured by that method.
