POSITION DETECTOR, POSITION DETECTING TOOL, AND POSITION DETECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detector capable of eliminating a human measuring error to detect precisely a position of a detection object, and capable of saving labors. SOLUTION: This position detecting tool 12 comprises a main body 12A having a known width W between side face edges. A front edge of the main body 12A is a straight line part 12B, and a V-shaped notch part 12C is provided in the straight line part 12B. The position detecting tool 12 is arranged to bring the notch part 12C into contact with two ridge lines of an anchor bolt 11. This state is photographed by a CCD camera 13 to find an intersection (feature point P) of the center line found from the two ridge lines of the anchor bolt 11 with a prolonged line of the front edge in the position detecting tool 12, on an image therein, and to find coordinates in two-dimensional coordinate axes on the image of the feature point P. A distance W1 between the side face edges of the position detecting tool 12 is also found on the image, and a correction ratio W1/W is calculated to correct the feature point P of the anchor bolt 11, using the ratio.
