PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance bending strength of a rear floor by increasing the section modulus of a rear floor and to relax impact to a fuel tank. SOLUTION: The rear body structure for the vehicle is provided with a rear floor; rear side members provide on lower surfaces at both sides of the rear floor along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body; a front cross member positioned at a front end of the rear floor and connected to the left and right rear side members; and a center cross member positioned at a rear side of the front cross member and connected to the left and right rear side members.
