The robot hand 6E uses a clamper 61 holding the back panel, a gauge 62 abutting on the back panel, and first and second gauge position control mechanisms 71, 81 for varying the position of the gauge 62 to the clamper 61 to vary the position of the gauge 62 to the clamper 61 corresponding to a panel different in shape.
