Calorie reduced gumdrop (I) comprises gum arabic, gelatin, sweeteners, water (with usual auxiliary materials), acidifying agents, flavorants and colorants, where polydextrose (25-45 wt.% related to the total weight of gumdrop) and fructose (5-20 wt.% related to the total weight of the gumdrop) are used as sweeteners, where the ratio of the polydextrose to fructose is 3:1 to 2:1.
