The steering has an actuator (2) with an operating cylinder (3) in which a piston with a piston rod is supported for adjusting a steering angle of a steerable wheel. The cylinder, with two operating spaces (4, 5), is fluidically connected over pressure medium pipes (6, 7) with a control device (8) for measuring pressure medium in the operating spaces. The pressure medium pipes are welded at the cylinder and the control device. An independent claim is also included for a procedure for producing a fluidic connection between the control device and the operating spaces of the operating cylinder.
