SCREEN TILT DETECTOR, SCREEN TILT DETECTION METHOD, AND PROJECTION TYPE PROJECTOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen tilt detector capable of accurately and easily detecting tilt of a screen.

SOLUTION: The screen tilt detector comprises; a single image sensor 13 for detecting voltage values V1 and V2 corresponding to brightness of reflected light made incident thereon from prescribed positions P1 and P2 in both ends of a screen 11 a distance calculation means for calculating distances L between the positions P1 and P2 in both ends of the screen 11 and the image sensor 13 on the basis of voltage values V1 and V2 detected by the image sensor 13; and a tilt angle calculation means for calculating a tilt angle of the screen 11 from the distances L.
