PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a gap from coming in between the butting faces of the upper case and the lower case of a charger, in a charger for an electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: A charger case is composed of an upper case and a lower case. A charging terminal projecting port and a push button projecting port are made in the upper case. This charger is equipped, within the charger case, with a charging terminal which is energized in the direction of projection by means of a spring toward the charging terminal projecting port. This is equipped with a slide lever which is energized roughly horizontally by means of a spring, in a direction where the tip of the slide lever pushes this charging terminal into the charger case, in opposition to the spring energization in the direction of projection of the charging terminal. It is so arranged that the thrust of the charging terminal is released to allow the tip of the charging terminal to project outward of the charging terminal projecting port in the upper case so that the working force in a direction where the upper case and the lower case opens up and down may not come into being, when the user presses the push button projected from the push button projecting port in the upper case so as to retreat the slide lever in a roughly horizontal direction.
