PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator core for motor which does not incur an increase of the iron loss of an electromagnetic steel plate without making compressive stress act upon the stator core. SOLUTION: In the stator core 10 of a motor which is equipped with: a teeth part 13 equipped with a plurality of teeth 13a with their inner parts continued; and a circular yoke part 11 which make the teeth 13a continued at the periphery of this teeth part 13, the yoke part 11 is divided in circumferential direction, and the junction between this yoke part 11 and the teeth part 13, is made a dimensional tolerance 15 with a contact a gap, and provided with space 16. Hereby, even if the yoke part 11 and the teeth part 13 are joined with each other at the junction, compressive stress is not added to them by the dimensional tolerance 15 with contact or a gap, and the space 16, thus this stator core prevents the increase of the iron loss by preventing the deterioration of the magnetic properties of the electromagnetic steel plates.
