PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent data missing at transfer of digital data, especially AV (audio visual) data between digital data output equipment and its external instrument, without applying special load on the user. SOLUTION: In an intermediate circuit 10, AV (audio visual) data which consist of digital data and a control signal for controlling the audio visual data are received, the audio visual data or decoded audio visual data in which the audio visual data are decoded are transferred, there are provided with a USB controller 3 which extracts the audio visual data from the receiving signal, a memory 5 which stores the audio visual data extracted by the USB controller 3, and an optical transmitting unit 8 which performs continuous outputting at a fixed rate from the memory 5 by the control signal in the receiving signal.
