PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of obtaining forms of two kinds of binarization processings of dither processing and error diffusion processing while suppressing the number of mounting gates on a chip, and to provide a printing device. SOLUTION: An image processing unit 26 is provided with a color conversion processor 43 for converting RGB multi-gradation data to CMYK system multi-gradation data and a binarization processor for converting the CMYK system multi-gradation data to dot data expressed by the presence or the absence of dot formation after binarizing the CMYK system multi-gradation data. The binarization processor is provided with a dither processor 44 for binarizing the CMYK system multi-gradation data by the dither processing, and an error diffusion processor 45 for binarizing the CMYK system multi-gradation data by the error diffusion processing. The color conversion processor 43 is used in common when it is in a dither processing mode of making the form of the binarization processing as the dither processing, and when it is in an error diffusion processing mode of making the form of the binarization processing as the error diffusion processing.
