PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well cope with the peak cut of a power by increasing an air conditioning capacity and generated electric energy. SOLUTION: A generator 3 and a compressor 4 are connected to the output shaft 2 of an engine in association with each other. An outdoor side heat exchanger 6 is interposed in a refrigerant circuit 5 in which the compressor 4 is installed and an air conditioner 7 installed on the indoor side is connected thereto for cooling. A water spraying device 10 spraying water for cooling a refrigerant is installed at a heat exchange coil 8 forming an outdoor side heat exchanger 6 to efficiently cool the refrigerant by utilizing also a latent heat due to the evaporation of the sprayed water. The work load of the compressor 4 is reduced to reduce a load on the engine 1 required for driving the compressor 4 so as to increase the output of the engine capable of using for power generation in order to increase the generated electric energy.
