PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column base structure of a foundation improved in the workability and the construction method thereof. SOLUTION: The column base structure K of a foundation in the present invention is provided with a foundation block 10. The foundation block 10 has a base plate P of a steel-frame C and a steel-framed side plate 12 fastened by bolts. After a joint member 20 has been connected to the foundation block 10, it is set in the specified position of the foundation and the base plate P of the steel-frame C is put on the steel-framed side plate 12, both plates 12, P are bolted to erect the steel-frame C.
