PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus 21 which packages a reflector 13 having two projecting sockets 18 on both longitudinal sides thereof in a compact manner. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus 21 comprises a periphery packaging part 28 which is formed on a packaging material 22 and packages the periphery of the reflector 13 that is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the reflector 13, and end buffering parts 29 which are formed on both ends of the periphery packaging part 28 and press both ends of the reflector 13 packaged with the periphery packaging part 28. Side face press parts 50 are formed both end buffering parts 29, respectively, and both side faces of the reflector 13 packaged with the periphery packaging part 28 are pressed widthwise in transverse to the longitudinal direction of the reflector 13 with the side face press parts 50 to determine the position of the reflector 13 widthwise. A reflection surface press part 51 is arranged between two sockets 18 on each end of the reflector 13 so that each press part 51 press the reflector 13 against the periphery packaging part 28 to determine the position of the reflector 13 in the direction transverse to the longitudinal and width directions of the reflector 13.
