PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control device which enables both of a provider and a user of paper rolls to readily and surely manage a residual amount of each of a plurality of paper rolls, and to provide a printing control program and a method of controlling printing. SOLUTION: When the printing is performed by receiving supply of a printing medium from a roll paper unit accumulating the paper rolls, a conveyance amount of each paper roll in a printer is acquired, and then a consumption amount of each paper roll is calculated from the acquired conveyance amount. The residual amount of each paper roll is recorded on a recording medium which is correlated to each of paper rolls in a one-to-one relationship by a predetermined recorder.
