The tool (11) is made of a hard metal or ceramics. It is designed as a long shaft (13) with a clamping area (14) at one end and the cutting head (12) at the opposite end. Four cutting areas (17) are positioned at identical distances from each other around the front of the shaft (13). Each of the areas (17) is provided with a cutting edge (18) with a radial positioned cutting surface (19) resulting in a slightly asymmetrical cutting tooth. If one of the cutting edges (18) is worn off, the tool (11) is rotated in the clamping device (15) in order to use one of the remaining cutting areas (17).
