<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a proton conductor having high ionic conductivity and small methanol crossover and a high-output fuel cell using the proton conductor. <P>SOLUTION: The compound is obtained by sol-gel reaction between a compound represented by general formula (1) (R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group or mutually bonded to form a ring; R<SP>31</SP>, R<SP>32</SP>, R<SP>33</SP>, R<SP>34</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R<SP>5</SP>is an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R<SP>6</SP>is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a silyl group; m1 is an integer of 1-3; n11 and n12 are each an integer of 0-4; L<SP>1</SP>is a single bond or a (s1+t1) functional connecting group; s1 and t1 are each an integer of 1-4) and a compound containing a substituent group to become a proton donative group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
