<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent pressure difference from being generated between both ends of a fuel reservoir. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel supply device of an internal combustion engine is provided with a fuel reservoir to which fuel is supplied by a high pressure pump system and a plurality of cylinders into each of which fuel from the fuel reservoir is led through the medium of an outflow pipe having a control valve.
