THERMAL TRANSFER SHEET AND IMAGE SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet which enables formation of an image excellent in weather resistance and hardly bringing about a change in color difference, and an image sheet which is provided with the image excellent in the weather resistance and hardly bringing about the change in color difference.

SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet has a base film and a hot-melt ink layer provided on one side of the base film. The hot-melt ink layer contains at least a coloring agent being a core shell type particle pigment which is formed by covering the periphery of a core constituted of inorganic particulates with a shell constituted of an organic pigment, and a binder resin. The image sheet has a base sheet provided with an image layer, and the image layer contains at least the core shell type particle pigment and the binder resin.
