<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein in the case conventional tip type white LEDs are arranged, light does not spread sufficiently if only the LEDs are used and the brightness does not become uniform since the light emitting face is a plane compared with a surface light source device equipped with a light guide plate formed of resin. <P>SOLUTION: While the light source, a diffusion plate 105 and a holder 107 in which minute reflecting structures are formed on the inner bottom face opposing to the diffusion plate are provided, the light source has an emitting face of a recessed face shape, and is arranged so that the light is incident into the light guide space which is formed between a diffusion plate and the inner bottom face of the holder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
