<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-irradiating apparatus capable of achieving compactness in size, without inviting the reduction of the efficiency or the light intensity and very satisfactorily irradiating the light, especially to a small-diameter work from the periphery without irregularities. <P>SOLUTION: The light-irradiating apparatus, for inspecting surfaces or detecting marks by irradiating light to a light irradiated region AR, is provided with both a cylindrical and transparent light-guiding member 4 having one face as a light entrance surface 41 and the other face as a light outgoing surface 42 and a plurality of optical fibers 2 arranged, in such a way that their output faces 21 are circular and facingly arranged to the light inlet surface 41 of the light-guiding member 4. The inner circumferential surface 4a and the outer circumferential surface 4b of the light-guiding member 4 are each provided with a reflecting surface for reflecting light, and the light outgoing surface 42 is provided with more recessed in shape, the farther it is toward its center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
