<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air jetting means in an exhaust pipe of an engine and to restrain a reducing agent from being deposited on an inner wall of the exhaust pipe by jetting high pressure gas to inside of the exhaust pipe, in an exhaust emission control device for the engine reducing and removing nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas exhausted from the engine by a reduction catalyst and purifying the exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device for the engine 1 is provided with the reduction catalyst 7 arranged in the exhaust pipe 3 of the engine 1 and reducing and purifying nitrogen oxides in exhaust gas; an injection nozzle 9 mounted in the exhaust upstream side of the reduction catalyst 7 in the exhaust pipe 3 and injecting and supplying a reducing agent 15 inside a storage tank 14 to the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas emission control device for the engine 1 is further provided with the air jetting means comprising an air reserve tank 20 in which compressed air is stored, an electromagnetic on-off valve 22 provided on air piping 21 extending from the air reserve tank 20, and an air nozzle 23 jetting the compressed air supplied via the electromagnetic on-off valve 22 to inside of the exhaust pipe 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
