<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide conductive paste capable of reducing an air gap occurrent at the interface of an element and an electrode in an electronic component, and to provide an electronic component and a varistor having an electrode formed of that conductive paste. <P>SOLUTION: A varistor, i.e. an example of an electronic component, has a structure, comprising a varistor layer and a pair of electrodes arranged to sandwich the varistor layer.
