PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the load on a CPU and to improve a drawing speed in a display system which draws an image through software. SOLUTION: The display system has a normal drawing mode in which temporary drawing on respective logic drawing planes 204 is carried out and then transfer to a frame buffer 206 is performed while overlaps of the drawn pictures are taken into consideration to reproduce the overlaps of the drawn pictures and a direct drawing mode in which pictures are drawn directly in the frame buffer 206.
