PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filing apparatus that can maintain consistency between a data file and a data view file without losing portability of a removable medium. SOLUTION: The filing apparatus comprises a program start part 701, a program execution part 702, a media insertion detection part 703, a file access part 704, a media information acquisition part 705 and a file information acquisition part 706. When the media insertion detection part 703 detects the insertion of a removable medium 720, the file access part 704 is set to a read-only mode and a view file creation program is read from the removable medium 720 and started, and when the started view file creation program is ended, the file access part 704 is returned to a normal mode.
