PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens sheet having light shielding bands, which has black stripes accurately formed by patterning and can be manufactured with the small number of steps and at a low cost and has high quality and high precision free from yellowing and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: Layers having light shielding and light absorbing properties are formed on a non-lens surface of the lens sheet having lens shapes formed on at least one side thereof, and then the lens sheet is irradiated with parallel rays from the lens surface side to remove the layers having light shielding and absorbing properties, in light condensing parts of respective lenses on the non-lens surface by melting, sublimation, burning, explosive fusion, or ablation, and light shielding bands are formed in non-condensing parts of the non-lens surface.
