PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera where a rate of erroneously operating a macro button is drastically reduced. SOLUTION: The macro button 101C is provided at a finder eyepiece part 101A. Furthermore, a light emitting body 101D for displaying a macro mode is provided at the eyepiece part 101A, and it is made to emit light when the button 101C is operated to designate a macrophotography mode. By utilizing that a subject is visually confirmed by looking in an eyepiece window 101B when taking a photograph, the button 101C is provided at a position where it is not operated when performing photograph taking operation, whereby the rate of erroneously operating the button 101C is reduced. Even when the button 101C is erroneously operated, the light emitting body 101D emits the light so as to inform a photographer that the macrophotography mode is set, and taking the photograph in the erroneous photographing mode is prevented.
