PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid camera capable of providing an image having the same aspect ratio as that of a framing image displayed on a display screen of a digital camera side in the case of photographing with the hybrid camera used as a silver halide camera. SOLUTION: The aspect ratio of the printed area of a picture is made to coincide with the aspect ratio of the photosensitive surface of an imaging device by taking the horizontal dimension or the diagonal dimension as a reference. The center part of the image data generated by the imaging device on the digital camera side is cut off, then, the cut image is displayed as the framing image on an LCD panel.
