PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus used for carrying out color inspection with higher accuracy than that of prior arts by easily confirming a difference between wavelength distributions in the same hue that has been conventionally difficult. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a plurality of imaging means for imaging light from an object, wherein a light separating means for separating light from the object and a plurality of optical band pass filters whose transmission band differs from each of a plurality of the imaging means are arranged; a selection means for selecting one of a plurality of the optical band pass filters whose transmission band differs from each of a plurality of the imaging means and for passing separated light, a plurality of the imaging means imaging the light passing through a plurality of the optical band pass filters; a gain adjustment means for adjusting gains of video signal outputs from a plurality of the imaging means; a video signal composite means for composing the video signals whose gain is adjusted by the gain adjustment means, and the gain adjustment means includes a storage means for storing adjustment values by each combination of a prescribed light source and the optical band pass filter and a composite ratio by the video signal composite means is stored in the storage means.
