PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of suppressing to a minimum an unwanted load applied to a lens barrel or the like. SOLUTION: A digital camera is configured by including an imaging device 20 for converting a captured image into an electric signal, a lens barrel 3 holding a lens, and a control section 23 which acquires a subject as a judging signal from the imaging device 20 when performing feeding drive of the lens barrel 3, and performs a feeding judgement of whether or not the lens barrel is to be continuously driven to a second position, based on the judgement signal.
