PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-damping resin composition which is excellent in vibration-damping performance capable of decreasing vibrational energy of air-borne sound, solid-borne sound, etc., and is capable of retaining the excellent vibration-damping performance. SOLUTION: The vibration-damping resin composition comprises (A) a vibration-damping resin and (X) a heat-storage material. Here, (1) the maximum value of a loss coefficient (tanδ) obtained through measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity of a vibration-damping material formed from the vibration-damping resin is≥0.5, and (2) a phase-transition temperature of (X) the heat-storage material is between temperatures 10°C above and below the temperature yielding the maximum value of the loss coefficient (tanδ) obtained through measurement of the dynamic viscoelasticity of the vibration-damping material.
