PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new utilization field of conductive polymer compounds and efficiently and surely increase the activity of microorganism or cell. SOLUTION: A conductive polymer compound such as polyaniline and poly(2,6-pyridinevinylene-coazobenzene) is compounded to a medium such as NN medium and a microorganism of the genus Pseudomonas, etc., or a cell is cultured on the medium.
