<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently arrange a current sensor which detects an abnormal current in an inverter device in a capacitor device connected to the input side of an inverter unit and stored in a housing. <P>SOLUTION: The capacitor device 100 stored in the housing 130 is connected to the input side of the inverter device 30. The capacitor device 100 contains a coreless current sensor 120 which measures a capacitor current id flowing from the capacitor 100 to the inverter device 30 in the housing 130. A power source supply and a detection signal are communicated through a terminal 135 and wiring 125 provided in the housing 130 between the inverter controller 35 and the coreless current sensor 120. The inverter controller 35 detects the short circuit fault at power semiconductor elements 41-46 based on the switching pattern of the power semiconductor elements 41-46, and on the detected value of the capacitor current id by the coreless current sensor 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
