<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing structure mitigating impact force in initial collision and largely lowering impact force in secondary collision on a hood. <P>SOLUTION: This shock absorbing structure of a vehicle is constituted so that the hood 2 extending toward the rear side from a front surface of the vehicle 1 has a base material 3 and a surface member 4a provided on the surface side of the base material 3 and formed of a material lower in hardness than the base material 3, a closed space 5 is formed between the base material 3 and the surface member 4a and fluid 6 is interposed in the closed space 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
