DECHLORINATION TREATING METHOD OF WASTE PLASTIC, TREATING APPARATUS, AND TREATING EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of performing remarkably efficiently rather than a conventional method dechlorination of a chlorine-containing resin (particularly, polyvinyl chloride resin) of a waste plastic by using a microwave.

SOLUTION: In the treatment of removing chlorine from the waste plastic comprising the chlorine-containing resin by irradiating the microwave to the waste plastic, electric field intensity of the microwave is made 20-200 kV/m. The dechlorination treatment is preferably performed under reduced pressure.
