<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration in measurement quality including error between output ports in the case of testing electric characteristics of a wireless apparatus by carrying out connection switching of a waveguide switch with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The waveguide switch is provided with: a drive section for rectilinearly moving a moving switch section having a plurality of waveguides clamped and interposed between an input interface and an output interface in a way of switching the connection of waveguides of the input output interfaces; a position detection section for detecting a moving position of the mobile switching section; a power monitor for measuring an output signal outputted from part of the waveguides of the output interface; and a control section that sets a position criterion of the moving switching section so that the power of an output signal measured by the power monitor reaches an optimum level and applies position control to the moving switching section on the basis of a difference between the set position criterion and the mobile position detected by the position detection section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
