<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator which can be used when a patient is at home and/or even when leaving home (including the time of traveling in a car or the like). <P>SOLUTION: A compression means for compressing the air taken from an air intake, a suction means for sucking a predetermined component other than oxygen within compressed air in a suction column and removing the component from within the compressed air, a product tank for accumulating concentrated oxygen from which the given component is removed are provided. An oxygen concentrator can operate with a battery which can be attached and detached. The battery has management functions such as a remaining battery level, use charge and discharge cycle counts, degree of degradation, voltage, and the like. A flow channel switching means provided on the compression means side of the suction column is formed by a pilot type electromagnetic valve. The oxygen concentrator is characterized by making the compression means work in advance of the pilot type electromagnetic valve when the apparatus starts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
