<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which secures the yardage of the shot balls and the soft hitting touch while keeping a thick weight part from spoiling the resilient force and the touch when the adjustment of the weight balance is made by providing the thick weight part on the head concerning the golf club heads and also ease the concentration of the stress on the weight part and the perimeter. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head comprises a hollow outer shell body provided with the face part serving as the ball hitting surface and the thick weight part in which a plurality of thin linear recesses with the thickness of the bottom part the same as that of the outer shell body is arranged integrally at least at a part of the outer shell body.
