PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing an acrylic resin sheet with a good optical performance and superior thickness precision, few intermixture of a foreign material or dust. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the acrylic resin sheet comprises preparing a polymerizable raw material in a container, injecting the polymerizable raw material into a casting mold through a hollow needle made from a material not dissolvable into methyl methacrylate, removing a remaining gas in the casting mold by the hollow needle and then polymerizing and hardening the polymerizable raw material, wherein the casting mold is preferably one that is fixed by pinching two plates opposed each other through a gasket by a plurality of clips.
