LEAD ACID STORAGE BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lead acid storage battery which can prevent blowout of a strap and using amount of lead can be reduced. SOLUTION: The battery has a strap 2 in which a plurality of ear portions 1a of electrode plate 1 are connected and a cell connecting part 3 is provided at one end of this strap 2. A recessed portion 4 is provided on the upper side of the strap 2. The recessed portion 4 is opened at the other end part 2b of the strap where the cell connecting part 3 is not attached and the bottom face 4A of the recessed portion is slanted toward the open end part.
