PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic compound device capable of collecting and utilizing effectively a packaging area for tall electronic parts by devising arrangement of a main substrate, while miniaturizing the size of the main substrate and securing a space in a cabinet for allowing a recording/reproducing apparatus such as a HDD to be installed later, in a television receiver having a built-in recording/reproducing apparatus such as a DVD. SOLUTION: The position 13 of carry-in and carry-out of a tray for exchange of a recording medium is arranged to be located at the center of a front surface of a display side device. A main substrate 15 is offset-arranged to one end side from the center A of the device. According to the arrangement, tall electronic parts 18 distributed and arranged so as to surround a periphery of a recording/reproducing apparatus 14 in a U-shaped one can be collected into a substantially L-shaped. Thereby, the electronic compound device improves the packaging density, and allows a recording/reproducing apparatus such as a HDD to be installed later. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
