摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program retrieving device which can retrieve an instantaneous program simply and certainly, and is suitable for a video recorder performing the videotape recording of the instantaneous program. SOLUTION: First program information corresponding to an instantaneous program is established beforehand. Then, a plurality of a second program information contained in an input signal are compared with the first program information. When second program information including the first program information is found out in the plurality of the second program information contained in the input signal as the result of the comparison, the second program information is outputted.
