<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of the locking of modules in a thermal printing device in which a cutter is formed by separably locking two modules. <P>SOLUTION: A second module 80 is connected to a first module 60 and locked by locking members 70 and 71, the finger portions 83b and 83c of a moveable blade 83 get superposed on a fixed blade 65 and forms a cutter 100. The finger portions 83b and 83c are bent diagonally upward.
