<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector which is manufactured into thin shape so as to meet the request for a light, thin, short and small electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A rotation member 30 is rotatably supported in a connector body 50 including a housing 10 storing a plurality of contacts 11 and having an aperture 12 and a metal cover 20 covering a part of the housing 10. A welding hole 28 is provided in the metal cover 20, a welding projection 18 is formed in the housing 10, and a part of the welding projection 18 is melted and solidified again to plug up the welding hole 28, and thus the metal cover 20 becomes an electrical connector 1 welded to the housing 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
