PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength and durability of a planetary gear mechanism by suppressing or preventing load due to torque transmission with an outer member from acting on a specific pinion gear. SOLUTION: This planetary gear mechanism 11 is provided with a sun gear 12, a ring gear 13 and a carrier 15 rotatably retaining a plurality of pinion gears 14 arranged between the sun gear 12 and the ring gear 13 as elements, uses any of the elements as a fixed element and uses any of other elements as rotating element, and transmits torque between the rotating element and the outer member 19 provided in an eccentric position. The fixed element 15 is retained movably in a direction of load accompanying torque transmission between the rotating element 13 and the outer member 19 and is constructed to receive load accompanying torque transmission between the rotating element 13 and the outer member 19 by a fixed part 16 rotatably retaining the rotating element 13.
