PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle device and an engine-driven motorcycle equipped with the throttle device of high responsiveness while suppressing dimensional enlargement particularly in a direction along a valve shaft. SOLUTION: The throttle device 20 is provided with a third valve 23B and a fourth valve 24B (motor-driven throttle valves) for opening/closing a first intake passage 23A and a second intake passage 24A for leading air to a third cylinder 33 and a fourth cylinder 34 of an engine E, and a DC motor 51 for driving the valves 23B, 24B to open/close. The DC motor 51 is arranged so that its output shaft 52 is parallel with a second valve shaft 26 for supporting the valves 23B, 24B, and the output shaft 52 and the second valve shaft 26 are interlockingly connected through a belt 54.
