摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rational governor operating structure having a locking maintaining function for locking and maintaining a speed control lever into an optional turning position in adopting a double shaft structure having a turning shaft of the speed control lever and a supporting shaft of a stop lever on the same axis. SOLUTION: In this governor operating structure, the speed control lever 65 and a governor lever 18 pivoted to an engine wall 1 are interlockingly connected through a governor spring 66, and an engine stop lever 7 capable of forcibly operating the governor lever 18 in a fuel injection quantity reducing direction is pivoted to the engine wall 1. The turning shaft 72 pivoting the speed control lever 65 is formed as the double shaft structure fitted into the supporting shaft 75 of cylindrical shaft shape for pivoting the stop lever 73, and a speed control maintaining mechanism i is provided for applying frictional resistance to the turning shaft 72 to lock and maintain the speed control lever 65 in the optional turning position. A turning allowing mechanism k is equipped for making the supporting shaft 75 turnable independently of the turning shaft 72 regardless of the presence of frictional resistance applied by the speed control maintaining mechanism i.
