PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor vehicle capable of avoiding a battery from running out during a stroke by effectively utilizing an insufficient residual battery power even when the residual power of the battery is insufficient. SOLUTION: This motor vehicle has a range finder 22; battery monitoring means (ammeter 23 and a voltmeter 24); a battery residual power meter 17b; a memory 25; a mode instructing part 26 selecting and instructing any of a plurality of traveling modes; and a control means 28 for controlling the memory 25 to store a charging and discharging power of the battery 17 every predetermined traveling section when a first traveling mode is instructed, and for drawing up a using schedule of the battery 17 based on the residual power of the battery 17 and the stored contents of the memory 25, and driving and controlling a motor device 21 according to the schedule when a second traveling mode is instructed.
