PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shape a soil wall by wrapping up a moistened mixture of clay and fiber materials and also a reinforcement material with a porous sheet, applying vibrations and pressure to shape them and then drying them, thereby making a lightweight and peel-off resistant soil wall that should not be constructed directly on structures. SOLUTION: A moistened mixture of clay and fiber materials in larger volume than the clay is produced. The fiber materials are controlled by wrapping up this moistened mixture with a porous sheet. The clay, fiber materials and reinforcement materials can well adhere together by applying vibrations and pressures to them. A homogeneous soil wall can be produced by suppressing clay particles when they come out to the surface by the applied pressure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
