PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for accurately changing display setting data without generating any error by changing not only display setting data but also a start OS to the same version at the same time. SOLUTION: This display device is provided with nonvolatile memories 4 and 13 for storing an association file where the combination of a start OS name attached to a start OS and a display setting data name attached to display setting data corresponding to the version of the start OS is described, a CPU 2 for reading association file from memory means 4 and 13, and a start OS/display setting data recognizing means 17 for recognizing the start OS name and the display setting data name described in the read association file. Then, the start OS attached with the start OS name and the display setting data attached with the display setting data name which have been recognized and extracted by the start OS/display setting data recognizing means 17 are read from the CPU 2 so as to be started.
